The Honorary Advisory Committee (HAC) assists the Band's Music Director/Conductor, its officers, Board of Directors and musician members in meeting ongoing needs that support and benefit the organization. Members are appointed for their expertise and knowledge of community non-profit organizations and the methods in which these organizations advance and achieve success. Members are active in the greater Lehigh Valley community and are committed to providing advice that will asssist the Band in meeting its targeted needs and goals.
Scott Cragle - (B.S. Mechanical Engineering, 1972,
MBA 1977, Lehigh University)
Retired Engineer PPL 1972-2002: Worked on air pollution control facilties investment strategy, emission allowance markets, fuel
procurement, power plant facility citing, and poer plant maintenance and construction. While at Lehigh, student conductor
of the Bands. Member of The Allentown Band.
Ronald H. Demkee - (B.S. and M.S. in Music, West Chester University,
Honorary Doctor of Music from Muhlenberg College, 1991)
Thirty-two year taching career in public schools, he continued teaching music at the collegiate level for another eighteen years,
culminating a fifty-year teaching career. Associate Conductor and Pops Conductor of the Allentown Symphony Orchestra, and when not
conducting, Principal Tuba with the Symphony. Music Director of The Allentown Band.
Robin A. Flores(B.S. Kutztown University, M.S. University
of Scranton)
Former Executive Director County of Lehigh Aging and Adult Services, thirty-four year career in geriatric social work. Since 2006 offers
expertise to community non-profits in offering skills in grant making, development, strategic planning, fund raising, building product
identification and facilitating community connections.
Steve Forman - (B.S. Music Educaation, Susquehanna University)
President of InfoMedia Designs, a management consulting firm focused on applying technology to support human performance, consults
with Fortune 500 companies, federal and state government agencies, the military, non-profit associations, and academic instutitions.
Author of The LMS Guidebook [2018, ATD Press] along with numerous articles, white papers and research reports.
Arthur E. King, Ph.D. - (Ohio State University, 1976)
Lehigh University, Emeritus Professor of Economics, 1976-2015. Fields of expertise include Econometrics, Comparative Economic Systems,
Regional Economics, Health Economics. International work with various European and Asian universities and governments; Muskie
Scholarship Foundation, Tauck Scolarship Foundation.
Kenneth Ryder MD - (B.S. Muhlenberg College in Chemistry and
Russian Studies, M.D. Penn State University College of Medicine)
Family Physician 31 years. Medical Assocaites of the Lehigh Valley for the past 21 years. Member of The Allentown Band.
James Steffy - (attended Curtis Institute of Music, B.S. West
Chester University, M.S. in Education at Muhlenberg College)
A career in higher educaetion for more than 40 years, including 26 years at Susquehanna University and 17 years at Muhlenberg College.
At Susquehanna he served as Professor, Music Department Chair, also served as acting vice president for academic affairs and three
years dean of continuing education. In 1982, he was named dean of academic services and was responsible for the university's marketing
and enrollment planning, as well as academic records and continuing education. From 2002 - 2003 he served as Muhlenberg College's
Interim President.
David V. Voellinger - (B.A Niagara University, M.A. Villanova University,

Ordained Roman Catholic priest, Chaplain to Their Serene Highnesses, Prince Rainier, Princess Grace and their family.
